Unfinished
Prompt 02.12
We like to believe that every story has a clear ending, a resolution that ties everything up neatly, leaving no loose ends. But real life doesn’t work that way.
There are the conversations we meant to have but never did. The projects that started with fire but faded into embers. The relationships that drifted, paused, or unraveled without a final word. Some of these unfinished chapters sit in the back of our minds, waiting for us to return to them. Others simply remain open, incomplete, and maybe (just maybe) exactly as they are meant to be.
What in your life feels unfinished? Is it something that still calls to you, asking for closure or momentum? Or is it something that has already served its purpose, even if it never found its ending?
Not every story needs a conclusion to be meaningful. Sometimes, the unfinished things in our lives are a testament to change, growth, or even the simple fact that we were brave enough to begin.
Today, take a moment to sit with your unfinished stories. Ask yourself: Do I want to turn the page? Or is this chapter complete in its own way, even without an ending?
