Reach
Prompt 05.26
It’s easy—and natural—to care most about what’s close: your people, your goals, your corner of the world. But what lives just beyond that circle? Who or what do you notice, but not quite include?
Sometimes, all it takes is a small shift in attention to expand your sense of connection. A colleague you rarely check in with. A neighborhood you drive past but never enter. A future generation you won’t meet, but whose world you quietly influence.
Caring more broadly isn’t about overextending yourself. It’s about remembering that systems don’t thrive on isolation—they thrive on inclusion. On empathy that stretches. On choices that reflect not just what’s mine, but what matters.
So this week, where might you gently widen your circle? What might shift if you made room for someone—or something—just outside your usual reach?
Because every time you stretch your care a little further, the whole system gets stronger.
