Detach
Prompt 09.12
How much energy are you wasting trying to fix people who have no interest in being fixed? Not every misunderstanding needs your correction. Not every argument deserves your participation. Sometimes the wisest move is simply to walk away, reclaiming your time, your focus, and your peace. Let people be wrong if they insist. You’ve got better places to be.
Think of the last time you found yourself tangled in an argument that drained more than it gave. Did correcting the other person truly matter, or did it just consume your energy? Detachment isn’t about indifference, but about stewardship of your attention. What might shift if you measured success not by winning debates, but by protecting your peace? This week, notice the moments you’re tempted to jump in and fix. Then ask: does this serve my growth, or could I detach and redirect my energy to something better?
